Virtually Unbreakable Strength
Strength is a very important factor when purchasing climbing holds. Some holds are chipped before you even get them. If they can’t survive the postal service then they probably won’t survive too long on a climbing wall either. Why is strength important? The first thing is safety. You don’t want a hold to break while climbing. The second thing is less frustrations while setting routes. Nothing is more frustrating that when a hold breaks as you are trying to screw or bolt it onto the wall. It can happen to all climbing holds but some more than others. And last, you want the awesome texture to last forever. Some climbing holds loose their texture within a few weeks. We think we have the best texture and we like it to last!
Long Lasting/Skin Friendly Texture
"Just wanted to let you know that I received my holds yesterday and they are great! I climbed on them bit and found that I really liked the texture and the shapes were very tendon friendly. You definitely have earned future business from me."
We are proud to say that almost every comment we get about our holds, they mention the texture. Strength is important but once you start climbing it’s all about the texture! The high strength will allow this awesome texture to last much longer than most climbing holds. This means less smoothing and chalk caking. The texture is easy on the hands. Kids love it! It also sticks like glue when you need all the help you can get when pulling on those killer slopers.
Kid Friendly
Kids are natural climbers. It's almost embarrassing watching how easy they can make it look. Our climbing holds are perfect for kids. The texture is important as mentioned above and will allow for hours of climbing fun. The only problem you will have is dealing with the constant begging to go climbing.
High Quality Non-Toxic Environmentally Friendly Materials
This doesn’t actually change the quality of the climbing holds but we still feel it is an important factor. Most resins commonly used in making climbing holds can be very toxic and harmful for the employees and environment. For the Morganic Climbing employees this is very important to know that our health isn’t being jeopardized. So rest assured that we will be around for many years providing quality climbing holds.
Strong Enough for Dry-Tooling
Just got a new set of ice picks that you’re dying to try out? Did the ice melt on you before you could get your ice climbing fix? Don’t put your picks away yet! Yes that’s right; these climbing holds are strong enough for ice picks! This is a blast! You’ve got to try it! With a little imagination you can almost feel the mist from the waterfall.
Solid as a Rock, No Flexing
Some climbing hold companies started using a very soft material similar to the material used in roller blade wheels. This forced them to make smaller climbing holds because the larger ones would flex and bend. The material used at Morganic Climbing is similar to the material of a bowling ball. It has just enough give to prevent cracking and chipping but isn’t noticeable when climbing and won’t flex under pressure.
